Dairy products such as curd, butter, etc raise the intensity of mucus. When you eat dairy products in cold and flu, there will be more mucus production that will further lead to breathing problems & headaches. It reduces heat by two ways 1. By stopping metabolism so that heat production seizes 2. By vasodilatation which leads to increasing sweating . So heat is lossed by sweat
