WebMar 16, 2024 · Our History: Transitions was originally founded in 1969 by a group of citizens concerned about the lack of addiction recovery services for Northern Kentucky’s less fortunate residents. Three of the group’s most committed members were from the same family (Virginia, Margaret, and Larry Droege). WebFounder transitions can be so absorbing as to risk the leadership’s focus upon what really matters for sustainability. The Board must have enough history of good governance to see its way through the complexities of the transition: As noted above, these transitions are challenging, and lay leadership’s wisdom is most definitely called for.
