WebYa discord has been taking a giant dump lately when it comes to video streaming quality. Doesn't matter your setup. If there's more than a couple people and just one person has a poor-ISH connection, the whole server is affected to the point of an already shitty 720p30 stream is being compressed and outputted at a fraction of the res and framerate. WebDiscord's stream quality is just terrible for me a lot of the time. I was under the impression that high GPU/CPU usage can cause the quality to drop as Discord prioritizes the game over the stream, but that's not always the case, as when I stream a simple webpage sometimes the quality just dies.

WebI have never ever had good streaming quality. For the most part, I had 35mpbs download and 4mbps upload, so I assumed it was my internet. Over these years of using discord, I have had 3 different PC's and I'm now on Voom500 Virgin Media package, so internet speeds and hardware are out of the equation yet my quality is still unwatchable. WebDiscord automatically caps my friend's bitrate to 100.00Kpbs, and their packet loss keeps fluctuating between 11%-89%. This caps my stream to 150-200 Kpbs, making the stream virtually unwatchable. They have no problem with internet connectivity on any other platforms (YouTube can easily play 1080p videos with no buffering). What do?
